The Athenaeum Art Center welcomes all interested in being a part of the Print Day in May global celebration.

The event kicks off on Saturday May 3 2025 from 12:30-4:30PM

Local printmakers are encouraged and welcomed to come print their personal matrices.

As part of the Athenaeum Art Center’s community outreach efforts, printmaking demonstrations such as screen printing and relief printing and letterpress, will be offered to the general public led by Kelvin Lopez and friends.

To make things a little fun and exciting, we are setting a theme for the Print Day in May celebration at our space by providing free yellow paper. We will also be encouraging participants to use blue, violet, purple (analogous colors) inks for their prints. Are you up for the challenge?

See you then!
