Photopolymer gravure print created with a Green Mountain Plate from Cone Editions, Charbonnel 55981 ink on Hahnemuhle copperplate paper. From an original photograph on film I took over 50 years ago while on summer vacation, traveling through California with my parents and brother.

Ralph Robinson
Ralph Robinson currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He makes work about the importance of preserving remaining wilderness areas and the wildlife that inhabits them. His sense of urgency about the plight of our planet has driven him to use his art to inform and encourage others to act now, before it becomes too late. Primarily a lens-based artist, he has increasingly brought his photographic images into photogravure, woodblock, inkjet, screen printing and mixed media as a way to further explore these ideas.
