“Sheltering at Home” Post author:Dunewalker Post published:May 2, 2020 Post comments:0 Comments Sheltering at Home is a new series of monoprints inspired by the necessity of social distancing during the COVID-19 virus. I used copper tacks to nail down copper and brass plates with descriptive marks scratched into the copper with an etching scribe. Yellow ochre ink is scrubbed into the incised lines and wiped with tarlatan, then additional etching ink colors rolled on with assorted Speedball brayers. i have been a painter/printmaker for over 50 years and have a print studio in Orleans, MA.
