I recently took a monotype printmaking class and am hooked. It was fun joining in Print Day in May and these monotype were inspired by my travels. I’m grateful to Creative Arts Workshop and my teachers, Maura Galante, for the community of artists and the invitation to be playful and fearlessly creative!
A karst spring, a raven, and lava herons, oh my!

Having traveled and lived in many places, I arrived a few years ago in the Arts District of New Haven, where I take painting and printmaking classes at Creative Arts Workshop (@creativeartsworkshop), sketch with the New Haven Sketchers group (@newhavensketchers), and make art in a studio I share with my artist friends at Erector Square (@erectorsquarestudios). I enjoy acrylic and oil painting, watercolors and ink, and monotype printmaking. I am inspired by liminal spaces, the play of light and shadow, and the ephemeral beauty of nature.
