Inspired by the work of local printmakers, I purchased an old book from a used book store in Oaxaca, Mexico. I used three different lino plates to make this print of a flowering yucca that is native to where I live. The yucca plant is framed through an arched window.
22 artist members from the Shepherd&Maudsleigh Studio each printed a 4" square block. Theme was SPRING! Each artist arranged the blocks all together and printed one large print.
