Inspired by Rhoda Rosenberg’s demo at Southern Graphics Council in Milwaukee (PrintMKE2013), four printmakers spent International Print Day in May at Snow Studios in Oakland, CA making carborundum collagraph plates. Sherry Smith Bell, Barbara Furbush, Josephina Jacquin, and Maryly Snow each had four 9×9″ polycarbonate plates for image making. Our intention is to print these in various combinations for a truly collaborative grid of images. We’ll print later in the week when the glue has fully dried.
