Shelly Ramsay is an artist residing in Westport, CT. After spending 25 years as a marketing professional, she turned her focus to creating art. Primarily self-taught, she has been making art throughout her life and has studied at The Washington Studio School, Silvermine Arts Center, and the Lower East Side Printshop, among others. Shelly works in printmaking, painting, and mixed media. She is a member of the Monotype Guild of New England, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Carriage Barn Arts Center, Greenwich Arts Society, and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists. Most recently, Shelly’s work was included in juried exhibitions at the Society of American Graphic Artists, New York, NY; the Greenwich Arts Society, Greenwich, CT; The Mark Twain Library, Redding, CT; Prince Street Gallery, New York, NY; Adam’s County Arts Council, Gettysburg, PA; Carriage Barn Arts Center, New Canaan, CT; and The Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT. Shelly is also a member of the Westport Public Arts Collection Committee.
