Want a loose theme to inspire your Print Day printing? You’re welcome to join our #DHprints virtual smorgasbord by making & sharing a print that’s inspired by (or of) food, picnics, or plenty 🧺 🍔 🎨

• 🖼️🧪 You do not need to think of yourself as an artist nor have finished work to share! We encourage you to share whatever your work is: first tries at a new-to-you method, brainstorming, progress pics, what your setup or workspace look like, etc. are just as cool as finished work.
• 🌈🎁 There may be? some kind of colorful free sticker/letterpress postcard sent to folks who participate afterward, depending on capacity. (Folks who post will be contacted for mailing info after, if so, so make sure your Bluesky DMs are open to @literaturegeek.bsky.social.)

To take part:

1. Post a photo of your printing activity on Saturday 5/2 to Bluesky with the hashtag #DHprints.

* “DH” in #DHprints refers to digital humanities, but you do not need to do or understand DH to take part (it’s just where the core group of folks likely to participate are).

Digital humanities is an academic research field that applies humanities methods & knowledges (e.g. ethics, art, history research) to studying or making technology; and digital (e.g. coding, digital maps, websites, VR) or experimental methods (including analog craft/making/art!) to humanities areas of culture, history, literature, etc.
