We forgot our offering

Happy Print Day In May!!! ✨️

This year I did a Pronto Plate Print, which is an alternative lithography print process.

We have a beautiful, and ancient, process purple lithograph ink that I just can’t get enough of.

My print is a crane with a tiny rain cloud pulling up a bunch of flowers for May as a bee flies around them.

It took a while to calibrate our litho press for Prontos and we realized we forgot to make an offering to the Print God’s – most likely cause for our luck!

Can’t wait to see what everyone else has done!

(hopefully everyone else remembered their offerings 😉)

I am a printmaker and mother of two girls. I am Dyslexic and graduated from OCADU in 2015 with a BFA in Printmaking. My practice has recently been mixed media alternative printmaking but also work in lithography, screenprint, relief and intaglio. My work focuses on the everyday and plays with narratives. You can find my work across the GTA, and as well as within the inPrint Collective events. As a member of inPrint, I exemplify our mission statement of bringing love of print to the community.
