Great day as a very small, lovely print day became 9 people watching the Kentucky Derby and printing solarplates, Silk-Cut lino and clay plates. So wonderful to feel the prints being made all over the world in the last 24 hours!

FaceBooK - Live! in Real Time Ten adventuresome visitors to the Atmos Press in the Pacific Grove Art Center were delighted by the twist in concept and intrigued enough to participate. Make a faceprint, choose questions to answer, attach your page to the others… And make new friends!
Built and started testing a simple flat press for block printing. Although I say I don't like wood working, it turned out nicely. Tested a small block and was able to print, emboss the paper, but still need work adjusting the ink. I think not bad for a start.…
Cleaning up is much less fun that printing!
Went to Point Lobos to see the Marine Mammal Center release of 5 rehabilitated seals. My Print Day in May images are inspired by the beach and ocean. Thanks for creating this event Robynn. I love working with artists all around the world.
