PROYECTO ´ACE is an independent Artist-in-Residence international program in the visual arts hosted by the Fundación´ace para el Arte Contemporáneo and located in the city of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. Founded by Alicia Candiani in 2005, its MISSION is to promote contemporary printmaking practices and their interfaces with photography, design and new media exploring their mutual interferences, as well as the capacity of multiple, through research and production residencies; promoting exchange, discussion, experimentation and collaboratively work. Our residencies, exhibitions, international projects and workshops act as bridges connecting foreign artists with artists from Argentine and all of them with the urban and social environment of the city, one of the Latin America cultural centers.
Lead by Alicia Candiani and Adriana Moracci, Proyecto´ace joined the #printdayinmay2019 gathering Argentine artists to work together in waterless photolithography during a day of work, international networking and fun producing amazing prints. Thanks Robynn Smith for the invitation!
