Celebrating each year Print Day In May and THE POINT Jane’s Walk join together for a walking tour of Hunt’s Point peninsula and printmaking at THE Point satellite campus. However, this year due to COVID-19, Jane’s Walk and Print Day in May have been reimagined. We have organized an exciting virtual bike tour of the Hunts Point Peninsula and live printmaking at THE POINT satellite campus. You can access this tour and print workshop through Instagram Live. We will concentrate on the industrial shorelines of the peninsula that are laced with sublime and hidden accesses to the Bronx and East rivers. This will be a lively discussion lead by Carey Clark. Our path will lead to the print cabin at THE POINT campus for the environment for Print Day in May lead by myself Tammy Wofsey.

I love the fact that we have turned this into a tradition and can celebrate Jane’s Walk and Print Day in May together! We are really working hard this year to have a virtual live tour of Jane’s Walk which will be the industrial section of the Bronx. This will lead to the print shop for the environment at THE POINT for printmaking fun.
This is great! Thank you so much for posting about this. NY is my heart home, though I’ve been in California for over 40 years. I love to think that New Yorkers are celebrating Print Day in May. It makes me feel so good that I’ve created something that is celebrated in both of my homes.
