Happy Print Day in May! I love this event and seeing work from all over the world. My contribution work this year is called “A Gathering of Umbrage”, which is a collection of elements found in the forest reformed into a more detailed yet more abstract set of images. This is an idea from last year’s entry into PDM, as if I was walking about with a magnifying glass looking at the carpet of leaves strewn about the ground. I used porchoir, dry point, monotype, and collage to create this. I used Akua Ink and various Japanese papers, some from Washi Arts and from Hollanders. contact@kathleenthomaart.com
