Photopolymer gravure print created with a Green Mountain Plate from Cone Editions, Charbonnel 55981 ink on Hahnemuhle copperplate paper. From an original photograph on film I took over 50 years ago while on summer vacation, traveling through California with my parents and brother.
Nearly 300 post cards were printed today! A great Day at Dundarave Print Workshop. Thanks Print Day in May for the inspiration to invite our community to get a bit inky and have some good fun.

My first prints with a beautiful newly acquired imtaglio printing press built by the Griffin Company of Oakland. I am obsessed with Mount Saint Helena and have created many versions of the mountain, which I call my Mont Sainte Victoire, in homage to Cezanne's series of paintings of the mountain.
