Since 2009 several couples from our Connecticut town have come together in my print studio for evenings of creative fun, exploration, food and drink. We’re all involved with the arts in some fashion; graphic designers, commercial designers, stone mason and printmakers. We call these evenings Art Parties and throw one every couple of months. We pick art projects that one would usually find in grammar school so that there’s no pressure to make a “masterpiece”; potato prints, paper mache constructions, cut outs, blind-folded painting and masks are just some of the projects. We are very excited about the Print Day in May idea and have been working for the last couple of weeks on lino cuts to print onMay 2nd. Best wishes to all and can’t wait to see what we and everyone around the world comes up with!

Regards, William Evertson

What a great idea! Our family (seven sisters and a gaggle of nieces and a few nephews) often gather in clusters for art parties too.
Thanks for joining this International 24 hour “Party” tomorrow. It should be exciting.
