Win the Anderson Ranch Summer Workshop Scholarship 2020!

Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Colorado is offering subscribers of Print Day in May the chance to win a week long Summer Workshop Scholarship in 2020!

This thriving arts center began in 1966 and now welcomes thousands of people interested in pursuing the visual arts each year. Within fourteen buildings, on a five acre campus, they run an Artists-in-Residence Program, an extensive programme of workshops and stage large public events. The Ranch has eight studios, a gallery, a lecture hall, cafe, office and an 18-room dormitory. There are also four, single-family homes and three apartments nestled in the mountain resort of Snowmass, ten miles from Aspen. Read more about WHO THEY ARE here!

How do I apply?

SIMPLY: upload your print onto any of our social media pages using the hashtag #AndersonRanchPD2019. The deadline is 4th May 2019. It can be any print of your own design, in any discipline, on any theme. The winner will be chosen by Print Day in May founder Robynn Smith, herself a printer and teacher at Monterey Peninsula College for many years. (It goes without saying, please do not enter if you are unable to attend a workshop in Colorado!)

What do I win?

The winning recipient will receive free tuition for a week long workshop at this inspiring educational centre for the arts. There is accommodation available at the Ranch, but will not be paid for as part of this award. All other expenses (studio fee and registration fee) are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. The winner will be asked to complete a submission form (by 1st February 2020) with their top three choices of workshops – this will be used a basis for the workshop you are awarded – often they fill up very quickly, so you may not be offered your first choice. GOOD LUCK!
