This is part of a series of prints planned for an artist book. Like many, I don’t have a press due to closures and so I have had to find new ways to work. I have had some help from mentor, Toru Sugita, to pivot to drypoint on plexi or matt board with hand imprints. It has merit, and these are some of the results.
I think that the Sanitizer plate is probably an inanimate object editorializing animated biological units by running out…of hand sanitizer.
