Print Day in May is approaching fast, and we here at Zea Mays Printmaking have made it our mission to share our techniques with more people than ever before. With our new online school, we are bringing the experience of our studio workshops directly to artists all over the world. If you’ve ever wanted to take a class at Zea Mays but have been unable to travel to the studio, the chance to learn from our wonderful teachers is now only a few clicks away.
We currently have three video tutorial series available for subscription:

Once purchased, the videos are available to view any time, as many times as you wish. All virtual workshops include supplemental materials such as prompts, exercises and visual inspiration. Each tutorial captures its instructor’s unique approach to art and teaching, blending discussion of theory with hands-on demonstration. While the video tutorials are filmed at our studio in Florence, Massachusetts, all of them are meant to be accessible to artists working from home without a press. It’s the educational value of an in-person class from the comfort of your own workspace.
