Hello, I am Badger, the studio cat at Blue Mouse Studios in Aptos, California. As the cat featured on the home page of the Print Day in May website, I take my job seriously. Well, as seriously as any cat can take anything that is not wholly about them.
I will be in the studio on Print Day in May 2024, and I encourage all studio cats to join me. PDiM is a great day for cats, as there is typically much going on: paper to bat around, cardboard boxes to climb into, press beds to jump onto, keyboards to nap on, ink to track across the studio floor. As cats, we have not promoted ourselves as studio essentials as well as we could .Let’s make that change this year and get out there in the public eye. Let’s share pix that show how important we are to the creative process.
