Newcastle Printmakers Workshop located in the city of Newcastle, NSW, Australia is excited to join PDiM as a sponsor for a second year. Our participation is growing and this year with the help of the Newcastle City Council we are putting on a morning of free printmaking events for the general public with a view to spreading the ❤ of printmaking. The afternoon will see the official opening of our exhibition “Newcastle Revisited” by Councillor Jenny Barrie followed up by talks from dedicated Printmakers Cheryl McCoy and Gary Shinfield.

Our competition this year is titled “What a Relief” and will be judged by Cheryl and Gary. We look forward to seeing you at our workshop or if it’s too far your prints online.

Happy Print Day in May from the land down under.

Newcastle Printmakers

Newcastle Printmakers established in 1979 is Australia's longest running volunteer run community-based printmaking workshop. We are located 2 hours north of Sydney and have a space with etching and lithography presses, a silkscreen exposure unit, work benches etc. to support both fledgling and seasoned Printmakers. We run classes and hold exhibitions on a regular basis and welcome new members wishing to undertake their printmaking journey.
