Bacteria

Graduated from the Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts at the Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia - UFRB in 2014, he carries out experiments with painting, engraving, art and technology and performance. In 2012, participated in the XI Biennial of the Recôncavo of Bahia, with the work Collaborative Random Design Without Hands. In 2013, he was selected to publish the recording of the work Haircut Performance in the edition Evocações da Arte Performática 2010-2014, where the artist invites the public to participate in the artistic process interfering in his appearance. Since the mid-1980s, he has been working in graphic arts: from silk-screen printing to computer graphics, in addition to desktop publishing. In the 1990s, he began his career as a director of art, graphic and electronic production in the Bahia and Northeastern advertising market. In the business sector, he was a partner of several communication companies and is currently a partner of Quanta Comunicação, headquartered in the city of Lauro de Freitas, Bahia. Develops integrated communication plans, institutional, corporate or cooperative identities, graphic design and web design. In the field of art, he developed a participatory poetics, inviting the observer to interfere in the artistic process. To create works such as Collaboration Random Drawing Without Hands and Haircut Performance, he sought references in artists such as the Fluxus Group, Joseph Beuys, John Cage and the performer Marina Abranovich, as well as Brazilians Lígia Clark, Hélio Oiticica, Arthur Barrio and Cildo Meireles . In addition, it maintains a production of engravings, using engraving techniques in wood, metal and synthetic materials. He is currently collaborating with the implementation of the Hansen Bahia Foundation (FHB) Engraving Studio in the city of Cachoeira - Bahia, coordinating permanent workshops and giving workshops to groups of students from public and private schools, university students and tourists visiting the FHB gallery . Also carries out a work of dissemination of the engraving, ministering workshops and lectures addressing the subjects related to processes of graphic arts in congresses and seminars in universities. Currently, it uses traditional techniques to computer programming languages ​​for the realization of works of art and design.
