I am an artist printmaker and my processes draw on techniques that combine mixed media and painterly printmaking, including collagraphy, monotype and chine collé. I direct the oscillation between abstract and representational forms that have their sources in nature, emotion and personal human experience.
I seek to draw the viewer into the evocative world I create on paper. I invite the viewer to take a moment in time, and discover a personal connection and resonance with the art work’s fusion of colour, emotion, and natural forms. Estuary Trails: Heron Territory combines linocut and mixed media inspired by the estuary landscapes within Cumbria.
