Some of my woodblocks.

These are a few of the blocks I print from and they are cut in several different types of wood. The gate design is on a purchased box wood, others are on soft woods, swiss pear and lime. I have been learning the technique of Mokuhanga printmaking and for this I use Japanese plywood.

My designs are usually based on my sketches. I find inspiration in landscape and moving figures such as the dancer. The design ‘Town at Night’ is from a poem of mine ‘Arles at Night’.
